Eye of the Tiger. Well, leopard.

Yesterday after getting home from work, the weather was so lovely so my brother helped me take some 'outfit of the day' photo's in the garden.

Leather Jacket - Charity Shop
Hoody - H&M
Top - Primark
Jeans - Primark (comes with a pink belt)
Shoes - Topshop Vectras
Rings - JWLRY
I've been trying to incorporate more colour into my wardrobe instead of wearing lots of black so these jeans are really lovely, and they fit really comfortably so i'd recommend them very highly for just £11! The top was also from primark and i love the bright orange colour, it really helps to spice up and outfit.
How do you guys add more colour to your outfits?

17 Cosmetics Goodies & A Giveaway! - CLOSED

Some of you may have participated in the 17 Cosmetics twitter party last month using #17cosmetics to talk about make up and music. At the end of the party, i, along with a few other girlies, received an exciting tweet stating that I had won a goody bag, so i thought i'd share with you guys some of the products i received and my thoughts on them. As you can see, there's a lot of make up!
*Warning - this is probably going to be a long'un, but if you stick it out there may just be a giveaway at the end!*
FIRST UP - Face Products:
Miracle Matte Foundation: I was sent this in my shade, soft ivory (by the way, i think it was really considerate for them to ask what our individual colourings and preferences were, so big thumbs up for communication/customer service). I've only used this once or twice so far and i'm really impressed with the quality for such an affordable price. If you like a good matte finish, this is what you want. So really good for me right now with my current spotty/oily skin combo. Plus it has SPF 15 which is always a bonus. (RRP £5.99 from boots).
Photo Flawless Skin Primer: This is a colourless skin primer which can be applied before foundation to prolong wear and minimise pores. I've really enjoyed using this product because it's so light, it feels like it disappears as soon as your rub it into your skin. It also left my skin feeling really soft and smooth. I didn't notice much difference in prolonging the foundation, but i'm not sure i've used it enough yet to tell the difference. (RRP £6.99 from boots).
Blush and Glow: I chose the "In bloom" blush which is half baby pink blush and half a deep red-y pink. The two mixed together on my cheeks give me a healthy looking pinkness. I will say, this blush is extremely pigmented which i think is probably a good thing, but too much on the brush will make you look like a clown! But if you're only using a little bit per application then i imagine it will last a long time! I can't believe how affordable this blush is too. (RRP £3.99).
Instant Glow Bronzing Powder: I was really excited to try this product because it's absolutely HUGE and it looks so pretty with the animal print, but i was slightly disappointed because as you can see, it turns out the print is just sprayed onto the product. It's also not very pigmented which is a shame. I will say though, you do get a lot for your money! (RRP £5.49)
NEXT - Nail Polishes:
Magnetized Nail Polishes in Blue and Green: As you can see, i am far from pro at this right now! I actually received 4 of these, I also got grey and purple which i may just be giving away if you keep reading! If anyone has any tips on how to get the magnetized effect, please help me! Otherwise, i really love the colours! (RRP £4.99 each).
NEXT - Lips:
Supreme Shine Lipstick: This product feels so much more expensive than it really is, especially because of the packaging. I was sent the shade "Pink Posey."
As you can see, this is a lovely deep rich pinky colour, more on the purple/plum side of the spectrum. The lipstick is super pigmented and feels really moisturising upon application. It is VERY bright, so i'm not sure it's an every day colour, but great for nights out :) (RRP £4.99)
Berry Crush Lip Stain: This is a double sided stick, one end is a Vitamin C balm, non pigmented and non-perfumed but really hydrating. The other side of the stick looks like a felt tip pen which you apply straight onto your lips.
Boy, when they said stain, they sure meant it! I was really impressed with how long lasting this product is. I put it on for a night out, and it was still there when i got home with no re-applications! I would REALLY recommend this product for long lasting colour! (RRP £4.99)
LASTLY - Eye Products:
Perfect Definition Eye Liner: I've been using the body shop eye-liner since Christmas and it's good enough, but it has the price tag attached. It also smudges really easily so i am totally converted to this eye-liner by 17. I love the definition you get when you use this product, almost as much as i love the price tag. (RRP £2.89).
Peep Show Mascara: I thought i'd leave this one until last for dramatic effect because it was the whole point to the party - to celebrate the release of 17's new peep show mascara. The hype has definitely lived up to it's purpose, I think this mascara is brilliant. It has lengthening fibres which i have to say, really do work. I'm always looking for mascara's that actually work, and this one really does make my lashes look a lot longer. I don't know how, i'm not sure about the science behind lengthening fibres, but i'm not going to complain! (RRP £6.29 but currently on offer for £4!!! That's right, £4!! GO GO GO!)
Now for the moment, i hope you've all been waiting for... It's GIVEAWAY time!
So there are a few other bits i decided to give away to one of my readers  to share the joy.

April: She Said Beauty Box

So as you guys will probably know, I unsubscribed from Glossy Box and decided to try She Said instead! Which is a pound or two cheaper and just mixes things up a little, i was getting bored of GB! So here's what I received this month, and the reason it's a bit late (I got this box about 1-2 weeks ago) is because i wanted to try the products before giving my opinion.
Naturally, the first thing I saw was the Lindor egg (omg so yummy!) and i thought it was a really sweet idea to embrace the Easter season.
The first beauty product I received was the Mischa Barton (when did she start making beauty products?!) Luscious Lips in "Pink Pop" which retails at £12 - in all honesty i wouldn't pay that much for this product. Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly lovely, really hydrating and it even has SPF 15. I'll definitely be replacing my vaseline with this, but I think you can find similar products for much cheaper. Plus this product looks like it should be really pigmented but you do have to apply a lot to get some colour. When you do get colour, your lips look (and taste) super kissable.
The next product was the Bellapierre Shimmer Powder which is this gorgeous golden colour PERFECT for summer. I've been using this almost as a highlighter and it's been great! Loose pigments can be a real pain to work with but i just use a powder brush, tap off excess and place this on the top of my cheekbones and slightly down my nose. It gives me a really pretty glow so this is definitely a thumbs up from me, but who are Bellapierre cosmetics? I've never heard of them before and £12.99 a pot is a little bit expensive!
Okay, so i've seen some pretty bad reviews about the Comfort Zone products, and if we get these in every box, i'm going to be disappointed. But as this was my first time trying the products, i loved the packaging and some of these sample were great for me to take to centre parcs to try. I think these are ok, i wouldn't buy them myself but at this stage, i wouldn't slate the products. I really liked using the fruity peel exfoliator (I love yummy smelling products - instant win) and I also really enjoyed using the Aromasoul shower gel too.
By the way, full sized, these products range from £19.95 - £58.25
Again, what is filthy gorgeous? Never heard of this brand before She Said beauty but maybe that's a good thing - these boxes are all about introducing new brands! Anywho, I received the shade "Valentine" which is like a deep, high shine red. I painted this onto my toes last week and i've had no chipping which is good! Also i found that it was really pigmented so I only applied 1 maybe 2 coats, so i was really impressed with that. I think i would've preferred a different colour because i have soooo many red polishes, but that's just me being picky! This nail varnish retails for £9.
This little tub of face and neck polisher from Bharti Vyas was really great for me this month, because i've getting a breakout of spots on my neck/back so i'm trying to clear it up with this product and a few lush things - if anyone has any miracle spot treatments PLEASE LET ME KNOW! So yeah, not a lot to say about this product, it's been good, but not something i'd usually enjoy receiving in a monthly beauty box. Also a full sized product for this would cost £22.50
What's that? Another product you say?! Yep, this month there was a BONUS item! Yaaaaaay, who doesn't love a bonus. I won't show the individual creams because when i got round to photographing this, it was half used! So this is the Erno Laszlo "The Hollywood Collection," which is a skincare range named after classic Hollywood stars. This stuff is super luxurious and really expensive ranging from £85-£175 so it's interesting to try. I particularly enjoyed using the Marylin Monroe Morning Beauty Rescue, and i still have a few others left which i'm excited to use.

Overall, if you add up the contents of this box, you really are getting a lot more than what you pay for, and it's really fun discovering new brands and products. I particularly loved the Shimmer Powder next month - what was your favourite?
If the She Said Beauty Box takes your fancy, Sign up here and let me know your thoughts, or if you've done a review, i'd love to read what you thought.

Zuzi Zuzi: April Wishlist

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter Break, i've come home from Centre Parcs feeling pretty broke but it was a lovely weekend, so I can't complain. With no money to spare, i'm seriously wishing for some of these beauties.
(1.2.3.4.5.6)
1. First up, I want to try Bioderma, mainly because everyone's raving about it, but also because i would like to find an easy alternative to the boots face wipes I'm currently using. I'm not sure how i feel about spending £15 on make up remover though and how long it will last, so if you've tried this can you let me know your thoughts?
2. How pretty is this cosmic print dress from New Look? It's a real shame they only do this is sizes 14+ at the moment, because i just love the colours. I'm trying to incorporate more colour into my wardrobe at the moment as i tend to wear a lot of black and white so this is perfect.
3. Bandeau tops. What a genius idea. I wear a lot of sheer shirts and blouses so I'm really loving the idea of these at the moment. I also really like the way they look with the racer back tops and i think that would look really nice for summer. You can get these for £2.99 on eBay in loads of different patterns and colours.
4. I don't really have any good make up brushes, just unbranded ones that work fine but they're not particularly easy to use and they don't give me the finish that i really want, so i'd like to try the Real Techniques brushes and the core collection looks like a good way to start. Also, this would be such a nice gift to give to someone, don't you think?
5. I went shopping last week in town and in Primark i saw some flatforms for £14 - I wanted them so badly but my bank balance disagrees with me at the moment. I think the idea of flatforms is amazing, because they are so easy to wear on a daily basis (I've found a heel i can drive in!) and being a tiny 5ft, this is important for me. Maybe on next months pay check i'll reconsider purchasing.
6. Finally I've been on a bit of a perfume craze lately. I popped into boots a little while back and the lady on the Dior counter spritzed me with the Miss Dior Cherie, and since them I've wanted to go and buy it. It's such a lovely light, fresh feminine scent and it made me feel really grown up. My birthday's a little while away, but I think this will be on my list.
Hope you all had a lovely Easter break, What's on your wishlist at the moment?

Fat Face

Sunglasses: Primark
Blouse: Quiz
Leather Jacket: Charity Shop
Shorts: Fat Face
Ring: JWLRY
Pumps: Topshop
In an attempt to invite the sun back into Britain, i've been wearing shorts and sunnies a lot lately! I love these from Fat Face because they have subtle stripes making them a bit more interesting. I decided to team them with a sheer white shirt, leather jacket and studded pumps with tights of course. I also added my sausage dog necklace which i actually won through a giveaway ages ago and wear time to time. The pastel coloured sunglasses are my attempt at styling spring colours! I don't tend to wear much colour, though saying that i bought some mint green skinny jeans today which i can't wait to wear.

I went out shopping in Bristol today so i have lots of fun exciting posts coming up showing you guys what i bought, but I'm packing for Centre Parcs tomorrow to head of on Friday for a long bank holiday weekend.
Are you guys up to anything nice over the bank holiday weekend?

My Top 5 Favourites: Bloggers

I'm thinking of starting up a series of "favourites" posts, let me know if this is something you'd like to see, but i think it could be really fun! So i thought i'd start off by introducing some of my all time favourite bloggers.
So to begin with, i had to mention Kavita from She Wears Fashion (previously i heart vintage) because she may not know this, but it is actually down to her and her blog that i began blogging myself! I just find her outfit posts so inspirational and so affordable. If you read her blog you'll know that a lot of her finds are from car boots and charity shops so she has a real talent for picking out gems! I emailed Kavita a very long time ago when i was about 16? And i asked her for some blogging tips which she was kind enough to give me, and after two years of reading her blog, i finally found the courage to start my own, so not only do i want to recognise her as one of my favourite bloggers, but i also want to say thank-you for being a huge inspiration to me!
Wow - cheesy much?!
Next up, I found Chloe's blog, 'Oh Chlo!', a few months back and fell in love with her outfit posts too! She seems to have such a knack for putting outfits together and wears them really well with her beautiful smile. Her content is well written and i feel like you get a real sense of personality through her blog which is why i've chosen to include it and you should have a read if you haven't already.
If you haven't heard of Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter, you must be living under a rock! This lady will always cheer you up, she's so light hearted and funny, but has really good beauty tips and tricks at the same time. Definitely a "the glass is half full" kinda girl, and she seems so down to earth as well which makes you feel like you can relate to her.
Sammi from Beauty Crush has been my favourite youtuber for a long time and her blog is definitely one of my favourites too - I'm just in love with her outfits! She always looks effortlessly amazing and i wish i had her wardrobe. She actually reminds me of Rihanna quite a lot! If you've been following me from the start, you'll remember i used her sugar skull tutorial for Halloween.
Finally, I wanted to include Chloe's blog, chloeHford,  because again, i just love her ootd's and i'm extremely jealous of her wardrobe. Her outfits reminds me a lot of a laid back festival style which is one of my favourite looks and she is bloomin' pretty too! Also she draws the cutest patterns :)

Have you guys checked out these amazing bloggers? Who are your favourite bloggers?
