Christmas Blogger Party

I can't believe it's taken this long for me to write up a post about Fridays Christmas blogger meet up in Java, Bristol. This weekend has been hectic with work, other Christmas parties, putting up the Christmas decorations etc.. You guys know how it is.
Anywho, as many of you know, boohoo and MyStreetChic brought us all together putting on a wonderful event with amazing goodybags, free cocktails and a stunning fashion show. I was gutted because the event was obviously held in my home town and usually it takes about half an hour to get to Java. But i miscalculated timings, and traffic was horrendous so i ended up being an hour late! Booo :( I felt awful, especially as a lot of the girls there had travelled from all over the country and still managed to get there on time! Anyway, enough complaining, here's some photo's of the night for you guys to enjoy. I didn't actually take any photo's at the event, so most of these are courtesy of MyStreetChic's facebook page!
So i'll quickly run through what I wore on the night. It's nothing i haven't featured before actually. I really wanted to wear a new dress i bought from Miss Selfridge's limited edition range a little while back, but I just felt it was too summery, so instead I wore:
Pearl Bralet - Yayer
Leather Lookalike Skirt - €9.99 Shana
Leather Lookalike Jacket - £5 from Tenovus, but originally H&M
Wedges - £9.99 Ebay
Necklace - £4 Clothes Show Live
Bag - £4 Tenovus
Cross Ring - £5 (gone up to £8 now) Love Hearts and Crosses
Other Ring - JWLRY
Molly and I
Thanks to Steph for this one :)
These photo's are courtesy of MyStreetChic - This blue polkadot playsuit was by far my favourite piece in the Boohoo collection.
You can view all of the pictures from the night here.
These are also some other posts from the night if you're interested: Steph Bee Lyzi Gem Annabel Dani Kim Joseph

On another note, the goodybags were amazing! I am so happy with my new lipgloss from beautycycle, it lights up and has a mirror on the side of the case so it's perfect to take on a night out! And the macadamia oil is such a treat to use as well. Did anyone else get a self heating cup of coffee instead of dry shampoo?! I was slightly disappointed with that i have to say!

A big thank you to Boohoo and MyStreetChic for holding such a super, successful evening.

Weekend Wishes

Well it's finally pay day again! And this is what I have my eye on this weekend..

1. This leather bralet tail dress from yayer <3 I've had lots of Ooohs and Ahhs about the bralet i had from yayer (you can see this here) because their products are just so unique and beautiful. I've had my eye on this dress for a while now and it's not really too expensive either - especially as their packages come in pretty gold foil! My only worry is, is it too short at the front?

2. These cute boots may go well with the dress actually? Now that winters on it's way i'm looking for a pair like these to wear to parties, sadly my pretty new wedges will have to wait until next summer. Saying that though i could be wrong due to this AMAZING Indian summer we seem to be having in the UK at the moment! Loving it! Anyway, i really love the cut out detailing on these boots, it makes them more unique to the standards ones along with the scalloped edging which seems to be quite popular at the moment. You can find them from new look here. It's 20% off for students at the moment and i have £20 vouchers from my birthday.. what do you guys think? Should i go for it?

3. Because of my vouchers i have been spending quite a bit of time on the new look website rooting around for some good buys. I came across this adorable hearts cut out belt here which is such a cute and flirty alternative to my woven belts that I'm wearing at the moment. You can get it in a range of colours too online but i prefer the dark red.

4. I seem to have developed this massive love for opal recently. I love how the stone is so shimmery, it reminds me of the stars. The description of these on Regal Rose actually says that they're "a tiny piece of the galaxy." I just think they're so cute. Check out Regal Rose if you haven't already.

5. I need this eye primer! I've been using a standard cheap white eye shadow as a base for my eye make up, but it doesn't work as well as the real thing so i may have to fork out £16.50 for this lemonaid eyelid primer by benefit, they're such a quality brand as you probably all know. This would probably last way longer that eye shadow too, I don't know about you but mine runs down really quickly.

6. Stags are becoming pretty kitsch at the moment aren't they! I have to admit, i am a sucker for the cute design of these earrings. They're so cheap as well at £2.99!

7. I know everyone's been talking about the rise in prices at Topshop right now which is slightly putting me off even looking at their website right now, but i can't help commenting on this nautical styled cropped blouse. It looks like you'd be able to wear it with pretty much everything and the ribbon detailing is adorable. If only they could lower their prices!

8. The final thing on my wishlist this week is Bobbi Brown's face base. I was given a small pot of this when i bought their creamy lip colour in crystal pink (here). But i ran out of the face base a couple of days ago. It worked so well and smelt absolutely gorgeous! I know it's a bit pricey but honestly, it is so moisturising but it doesn't leave skin feeling greasy at all, and it kept my make up on all day. I would honestly recommend this product to anyone. I want some more!

What's on your wishlist this payday? Hope everyone's well and enjoying the lovely weather!
Much love, xxxxx

Eighteenth Birthday Celebrations

Uh oh. Haven't posted in a while! Woopsie, sorry. In all fairness, i've been busy turning 18!
I've made a quick instagram to sum up my birthday :)

1. On the day, i woke to breakfast in bed (scrambled egg on toast & orange juice) and a lazy morning opening a few cards and presents. Me and my boyfriend then went to see the inbetweeners, as we hadn't seen it yet! Anyone else seen it? It's hilarious!! I loved it. Plus we had the whole cinema to ourselves - so yes, we claimed the luxury seats. In the evening we met a few friends for a meal and cocktails at TGI fridays, so this picture is me, Joe, Alley, Grace and Shannon drinking our free birthday cocktails! I think the picture in the background says it all really - "Let's have a drink, Let's have some fun, at last the job is done."

2. This is a picture of the chocolates and cava i got from a few friends - i know chocolate is like a "typical" present, but i do looove luxury ones like Thornton's ones! I snuggle up in bed with a box and a movie, like you do! (thanks Grace :))

3. My brother got me the shoes and nail varnishes! I chose them, he bought them. The shoes were £10 from ebay here. (Mine are in coral.) I loved them after i saw Kavita's on her blog, and i had to get some! The colour goes with everything as well and their so comfy so you can wear them all the time. The nail varnishes are models own, i got them when they were 4 for a tenner!
(L-R "Juicy Jules, Dusty Mauve, Gun Grey and Nyla Nude."

4. On my birthday, i hit Vodafone and took out a contract on the iPhone 4. My contract runs out next month and theres a brilliant deal at the moment for argos employees to get 50% off all line rental contracts, meaning for a nifty £20 a month, i have everything i'll ever need! I love it, i haven't come off of it since i got it! I'm especially addicted to tiny zoo and tiny tower.

5. This pearl bralet from Yayer, may just be my new favourite thing in the world. It is absolutely gorgeous!! It was a gift from my boyfriend, alongside the remington pearl wand (pic 6). The bralet has a black lacey layer with pearls hand stitched on the top with a zip down the centre front. It's one size for all and the cup is just a little big for me, but i wore it out to town last night over an LBD and it looked and felt perfect. Yayer has quite a unique feel which is why i love my bralet so much! Not to mention, it came it gorgeous gold shiny wrapping. A few of the pearls have fallen off, but can way easily be sewn back on.
(I wore it to TGI fridays that night)
(White Cropped Cardi - New Look. Pearl Bralet - Yayer. Vintage Locket - Inherited. Belt - Primark. Skirt - River Island. Wedges - Ebay. Pearl Bracelet - Gift from mum. Ring - Llymrs. Nail Varnish - Juicy Jules over Nyla Nude from Models Own.)

I'm wearing one of the many Llymlrs rings i now own! I ordered a five ring stone mix, and mum and i loved them so much that we ordered 2 more sets straight away. They are so easy to wear and go with everything. Especially as with the mix you get a range of colours and shapes. Plus they are adjustable so they can fit any finger :) I'm keeping some and using some as gifts too. Here's some of the mix i have left. The ones in packaging will either by future gifts or possibly a giveaway for my blog in the near future! (Keep your eyes peeled!)

(My favourite is definitely this one. And her business cards are cute aswell! Be sure to check her out.)

6. Moving on from my rambles... Picture six is some more gifts i got, including the pearl wand from my boyfriend - not as good as i thought it would be. I've heard great reviews at work, but you really only get what you pay for it to be honest. I also got some miss sporty nail varnishes in pretty colours, a new purse and the Nadine false eyelashes. The eyelashes are fab! They're not too over the top, so they actually look fairly natural. I wore them out last night and tonight and they still seem very durable. I've actually just put them on my boyfriend for a laugh too! If i was allowed to take a photo i would have shown you. Let's just say he looks.. feminine.

Woah what a long post! Haha i guess this makes up for me not posting for a while. Anyway, i hope you're all good!
Much love xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
