Christmas is only 360 days away: Part 2

Christmas Day: What I Wore.
Dress: Birthday gift from Mum
Cardigan: Miss Selfridge
Necklace: Gift from Grace
Tights: HOH
Shoes: Ebay (Gift, see below)
Bag: Ebay

I love getting all dressed up on Christmas day, i know lots of people like to stay in thier PJ's, but i usually have many families to visit. So following my stocking post, i thought i'd share the main presents I received this Christmas. I know this is a little late and people are getting bored of Christmas posts now so this is my last Christmas-related post (Caution: Picture heavy.)
(Tights including stockings, suspender tights and french seamed. Lots and lots of chocolate. New shoes as seen in what i wore. Lots of make up from the Body Shop including "the sparkler." Books, mugs and an air freshener from my car. My new beloved Mac lipstick.)
One of my favourite gifts I received this year was the much coveted naked palette from Urban Decay. Alongside this, he also bought me a beautiful lipstick from MAC in frost.
My brother bought me this lovely satchel which i believe was found in a charity shop. It's real leather and a gorgeous rich brown colour. It probably doesn't look terribly big in the picture but it's quite massive in real life. I think i may adjust the strap aswell because it's very long at the moment.
My dad really surprised me with this lovely winter coat from Topshop. Its got a lovely fur lining and is so snuggly and warm! Perfect for this season - so thanks dad!
Mum bought me this lovely hand knitted cardigan for days at home when i need something to snuggle up to.
Finally I thought i'd share with you the latest addition to the family who joined us on Christmas day. Ozzie is a new buddy for my dad who lives alone and this little kitten is so adorable and friendly!
Apologies for the mass-post!
I can't believe it's NYE tomorrow - What are your plans? I'm just going to stick to my local High Street with some good friends. I have scheduled a quick post for tomorrow so keep a look out for that. Just quickly though, I do want to say a big thank you to all the support i've gained through my blog this year, I've had the best time starting up this little space of mine on the internet.
Much love to you all xoxo

Christmas Gifts Part 1: Stocking Fillers

First off, i hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I've really enjoyed seeing some of your gift posts, everyone sounds as though they got some wonderful pressies! I also got spoilt by my wonderful boyfriend and family and had a lovely day as well. In fact, my Christmas day is sort of split into three, because in the morning i'm at mums house and we open stockings, eat an early Christmas lunch followed by tree presents. Next I dash of to Mike's house to have yet another lunch with his family and open presents, then finally we head down to see my Dad for yet more food and presents! If you follow me on twitter then you'll know that this year was slightly different for me because we bought dad a beautiful kitten for Christmas and had to go and pick up the little sweetheart. Anyway, i've decided to do a two part post beginning with some of the stocking fillers i received this year!
Very lucky stocking! I also got a scratch card and 20p! But won nothing :(
First off, you can really go wrong with LUSH goodies can you? I received the bath bomb in rose jam, and i'm serious - It smells amazing! The little heart decoration is a really pretty air freshener and i also got a really sweet vintage storage tin which i think i'll use for odd bits of jewellery.
In my stocking this year, i also received the OPI Texas Lil Shooters. The colours you get inside are L-R "I Want To Be A Lone-Star" "Austin-Tatious Turquoise" "Do you think i'm Tex-y" and a top coat. Today i tried the first one and it's a lovely baby blue/grey. I really loved this little gift!
My stocking also contained these pretty flip-flops, which i believe came from Accessorize, and a cute sleeping mask for when I get optic migraines.
To go with the flip-flops, santa also brought me some sunglasses also from Accessorize. The cute birdie ornament is a small photo frame which I'll display in my window sill and for a bit of fun, I got some popping candy!
This cute tea light holder will be also be displayed in my window sill and I think it was such a cute little gift!
Finally, I was given a pair of cute tights and some lip balm inside a sweet flower case.

Stockings are my absolute favourite part of the day, and i love sitting with my family in our PJ's on Christmas morning. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as I did. Much love, xoxo

The Best Way to Spread Christmas Cheer, is Singing Loud for all to Hear!

Seeing as Santa Clause is coming to town tonight, I thought i'd wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I hope you all get everything you wish for and relax and enjoy this wonderful holiday season. I thought i'd also share a few pictures of Christmas in my home this year.
I had my friends, Grace and Alley over last night for a pre-Christmas dinner. I wore a Miss Selfridge dress that I found in the sale of the limited edition range for £25 a couple of months back. It has beautiful draping sleeves and pink embroidery around the hems.
Presents! Grace received (pictured left) Some yummy chocolates, hair wax and creme brulee vasaline from Alley and some cute hair accessories from me. I received (pictured right) some yummy chocolates, Collection 2000 Cream Puff in Fairy Cake (post to follow), Rimmel London Scandeleyes Mascara in 001 and Max Factor Max Effect Mini Nail Varnish in Deep Mauve and i was over the moon with my gifts! Alley received a delicious bottle of white wine which was glugged all evening and a Ted Baker Bath and Body set.
As you can probably tell, too much wine and Buck's Fizz was drunk, but we had a jolly evening munching on chicken, stuffing, roast potatoes and vegetables. For desert we polished off a lovely chocolate cheesecake that Grace kindly made for us.
I sincerely hope you all have a marvellous day tomorrow and I can't wait to see you all posting about what you got! Merry Christmas, much love xxxxx

Christmas Blogger Party

I can't believe it's taken this long for me to write up a post about Fridays Christmas blogger meet up in Java, Bristol. This weekend has been hectic with work, other Christmas parties, putting up the Christmas decorations etc.. You guys know how it is.
Anywho, as many of you know, boohoo and MyStreetChic brought us all together putting on a wonderful event with amazing goodybags, free cocktails and a stunning fashion show. I was gutted because the event was obviously held in my home town and usually it takes about half an hour to get to Java. But i miscalculated timings, and traffic was horrendous so i ended up being an hour late! Booo :( I felt awful, especially as a lot of the girls there had travelled from all over the country and still managed to get there on time! Anyway, enough complaining, here's some photo's of the night for you guys to enjoy. I didn't actually take any photo's at the event, so most of these are courtesy of MyStreetChic's facebook page!
So i'll quickly run through what I wore on the night. It's nothing i haven't featured before actually. I really wanted to wear a new dress i bought from Miss Selfridge's limited edition range a little while back, but I just felt it was too summery, so instead I wore:
Pearl Bralet - Yayer
Leather Lookalike Skirt - €9.99 Shana
Leather Lookalike Jacket - £5 from Tenovus, but originally H&M
Wedges - £9.99 Ebay
Necklace - £4 Clothes Show Live
Bag - £4 Tenovus
Cross Ring - £5 (gone up to £8 now) Love Hearts and Crosses
Other Ring - JWLRY
Molly and I
Thanks to Steph for this one :)
These photo's are courtesy of MyStreetChic - This blue polkadot playsuit was by far my favourite piece in the Boohoo collection.
You can view all of the pictures from the night here.
These are also some other posts from the night if you're interested: Steph Bee Lyzi Gem Annabel Dani Kim Joseph

On another note, the goodybags were amazing! I am so happy with my new lipgloss from beautycycle, it lights up and has a mirror on the side of the case so it's perfect to take on a night out! And the macadamia oil is such a treat to use as well. Did anyone else get a self heating cup of coffee instead of dry shampoo?! I was slightly disappointed with that i have to say!

A big thank you to Boohoo and MyStreetChic for holding such a super, successful evening.

December Glossybox

This month's limited edition box has to be, by far, one of the best glossyboxes i've ever received. This is the first time i've been overjoyed with every product, knowing i'll get use out of it all!
Obviously this month was the Christmas gift guide part two, and it contained items that help you become "Belle of the ball" this party season.
To get into the festive spirit, Glossybox's signature dusty pink box transformed into a Christmassy red one this month - What a cute idea! I thought it was such a lovely touch to keep up with the seasons. I was also really really happy to see the amount of full sized products we got this month.. and all of them are amazing.
The first thing i pulled out of my box was Rituals foaming shower gel in Yogi Flow. Now, i haven't properly used this yet, but i can tell you it smells really sweet and yummy! Sort of cakey and flowery at the same time. It says, "This unique foaming shower gel gently cleanses your skin and leaves it silky soft and smooth." So i can't wait to try this out later!
I've never tried any of MeMeMe cosmetics before but this face base reminds me a lot of Bobbi Browns face primer. It smells gorgeous, like lemonade or that icy fanta. It also works really well leaving my skin feel really hydrated and it leaves a sort of natural dewy finish which is what i like to achieve! It says, "A luxurious moisturising facebase enriched with active nutrients and extracts to prime and nourish the skin."
I was so glad to get this in my box after seeing some spoilers - I actually really needed some new mascara so this was perfect timing. I've never even heard of blink+go before, and i've gotta say i'm not a massive fan of their packaging, but the mascara itself was a nice surprise. It gives me longer lashes with only one coat! The brush is quite thin but it doesn't give that effect. It's also waterproof which is always an added bonus now the weather's taken a turn for the worst!
I also received this gorgeous little sample of lipgloss from Cargo Cosmetics in "Tokyo." It's a baby pink colour, reminds me of the babydoll leighton denny nail varnish actually! (colour-wise!). The application is lovely too, I don't find it sticky at all. The description reads, "Cargo's new lip gloss formulation! Perfect shades, great wear and high-shine without being sticky."
This pretty festive nail varnish caught my eye, almost the moment I opened my box. It's such a pretty colour that i've been wearing non-stop since I got my fingers on it! (I think it's in shade, "razzle dazzle.") It does need a couple of layers though to get the full effect. The pot came with a small sachet of polish remover mitts which i'm popping in my handbag for a nail related emergency. My mum did use hers though and said that they were really easy to use.

What did you think of the limited edition GB this month? Let me know xxx
